Arriving by air/train.
Florence has its own airport, Amerigo Vespucci, which is located approximately
5km from the city center. A 10-15 minute taxi journey, depending on time of
the day, will bring guests to the Hotel Rivoli Suites. Only a limited number
of airlines fly into Florence with budget airlines arriving at Pisa, 80km
from Florence. Connecting from Pisa is straightforward with various options
available:
Pisa-Florence by train: 1hr direct train from Pisa to Florence
Santa Maria Novella station.
Pisa-Florence by bus: Shuttle buses brings visitors directly
into Santa Maria Novella train station. The journey from Pisa airport takes
around 1-1.5hrs. Terravision tickets can be purchased on Ryanair flights or
through the ticket office within Pisa airport
If flying from North America, guest will have to catch a connecting flight
in Rome or Milan or take a train into Florence Santa Maria Novella railway
station. It is well worth checking timetables and booking tickets in advance
at www.trenitalia.it
From Santa Maria Novella railway station:
The Hotel Rivoli Suites is situated 250 meters from Santa Maria Novella railway
station and is literally a 5 minute walk. Exit the station from the right
hand side and at the foot of the steps cross the pedestrian crossing and turn
left onto Via Santa Caterina di Siena. Turn left at the traffic lights into
Via della Scala - Hotel Rivoli Suites is situated on the right hand side,
approximately 100 meters from the traffic lights.
Arrival by car:
Exit the A1 motorway at 'Firenze - Scandicci' exit and after the toll, follow
the signs for the city centre. Continue to the bridge 'Ponte alla Vittoria',
cross the river following signs for the railway station. Once in front of
the railway station (left hand side), continue to the right into Via Santa
Caterina da Siena. At the traffic lights turn left into Via della Scala and
you will find the Hotel Rivoli Suites 100 meters on the right.
Please note: Florence city centre is reserved solely for city residents. However,
tourists are allowed to enter the city centre to access hotels. We recommend
contacting Hotel Rivoli Suites in advance. As a complimentary service, Hotel
